The 'Dates' - Date # 1 - Bridget Tangaroa

Because of the huge lag in game, it was decided that Chance would start the dating process a little earlier than scheduled. Also, I've changed the rules ever so slightly too. Nothing too serious, but enough to speed up the challenge.

So, without further ado, it was decided, by Chance (and the production team) that he'd date the women with the least relationship points first, in an attempt to see if they're compatible. Also, to get a one-on-one with them, see what makes them 'tick'.

Well, his first 'official' date was with the 'quiet, shy' Bridget.

But don't be fooled by this facade. Underneath that refined exterior, there beats the heart of a vicious, mean tempered Scorpio woman.

Oh yes.

To avoid any cat fights, Chance decided to take Bridget to his favourite haunt.... Baliwood Star Lanes, at Bluewater Village. It was just before midnight, the sky was clear but the moon wasn't out just yet.

Perfect night for a date?
We hope so.

The date started off a little hesitantly, with both parties, nervous as heck around each other. Chance admitted that he'd never been in this kind of scenario before, and found it (and Bridget) a little intimidating.

We just told him, and Bridget, to be themselves and see how the evening fares.

Little did we know just how long, (and how eventful) this date was going to be. With cameras rolling, we allowed our little 'love birds' the freedom to do as they wished. If it ended up with woohoo afterwards, that's fine by us, as long as they were 'safe'. We don't want little 'additions' to the family.... just yet.

So, to break up the uncomfortable atmosphere, Chance decided to challenge Bridget to a game of 'catch'.

Safe, cool, good idea. Harmless....

Erm... well.. no, not exactly.

Things were going fine until Bridget decided to gear up her competitive side. And hurled the ball at Chance at top speed, aiming directly at his body.

Twice.

She took great delight at directing her hits at some of his most sensitive parts of his body. But, being the gentleman that he is... he cursed only quietly to himself, and gamely continued to play along. After all, he didn't want to have a scene, not just yet. Sadly, that didn't start the date off so well. Thank goodness her aim is off, otherwise the poor guy would have been weeping for a week.

If this is her 'playful' side, I'd hate to think what she'd be like when she's annoyed...

Also, whilst playing catch, Bridget and Chance got talking, and she revealed to him, one of her biggest wants ...

... and it's not something that you normally share on a date... that's for sure.

She wants desperately, to see the ghost of a townie Sim that insulted, annoyed and made her cry a while back (see Darius' 30 Sim challenge on Cosy Corner Sims 2 for more details).
(sorry, no pictures, didn't want to scare poor Chance away with THOSE bad memories)

O-kay. This woman is... scary.
Truly.

Personally, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of her wrath, if she was wronged in anyway.

Whilst on the lot, a wicked witch came by. To which I decided NOT to allow any of my date Sims to greet her. After all, Chance already had the makings of an evil woman there before him... so why tempt fate?

Well, they went bowling, which was fun. They enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Then Chance decided to make some moves.

Or did he?

But wait! What's this????

ACR strikes again. This time, they're falling into each others arms. Chance is really going for the 'charm offensive here!'

But then THIS happened.....

Temptation has just strutted through the doors, in the guise of temptress Alessandra Venetia, all dark curls, smouldering pouts and sexy curves. (oh yes, we've made this challenge all the more exciting)

This is going to be interesting.

Bridget caught sight of her first, and judging by the look on her face, she's gearing up for a fight... just in case.

But she needn't have feared, Chance only has eyes for her. After all, as we mentioned earlier, he's being a true gentleman. That didn't stop Bridget from launching herself at Chance and landing a big smooch, directly on his lips, taking him by surprise.

Of course, seeing an opportunity here, Chance reciprocated... with obvious relish!!!!

Guess she was 'marking' her territory ... or something.

O-kay.

He decided to fulfil a few of Bridget's wants, and noticed that one of them was a 'slow dance', so dutifully he obliged.

They twirled and snuggled up close. Then, with a cheek grin, his hands began to wander.

And Bridget liked that.

Well, that's a start.

But then, chancing his luck, he leaned forward for a smooch (considering that not an hour ago, they couldn't pry their lips from each other) and he was instantly rebuffed!!!

WTF???? Guess she feels intimidated by Alessandra's presence and isn't quite comfortable with the fact that she's within eye contact of Chance.

Poor guy... just can't get a break from this highly jealous woman.

Well, whilst they were up close and personal, Chance just happened to be distracted slightly and we wondered why. Was it the dark haired temptress that was still hanging around?

Nay.

It was a fight that had broken out between Wanda Tinker and an unknown assailant.

See, we told you this date was eventful. (sorry again for lack of pictures, we're here for the dates, not the drama that's going on in the neighbourhood).

Chance felt some knots in Bridget's shoulders and back and asked politely if she wouldn't mind a back rub. To which she agreed.

Judging by both their faces, that was total bliss.

Then he thought, what the hell, and planted a BIG smooch on her lips, just for the hell of it (and just to see if he could melt this ice-princesse's heart a little). The expression on her face was indeed, truly priceless.

On a side note, I feel there's an invasion from Goopy Emporium, here at the lot. (either that, or there's a BIG end of stock sale) Just check these two guys out. Wearing the same, terrible outfits!!!!

Okay, back on track.

Pleased with himself, Chance dares a glance at the camera (and the woman behind the lens, nearly swoons with desire), a slightly smug look on his face.

"Am I doing well?" he asks, whilst Bridget goes off to 'powder her nose'.

We give him the thumbs up.

"You're doing great there, keep going."

Well, when she comes back, he draws up his courage and asks her a rather direct question. To which we were surprised at her reply.

"Well," he asks brazenly, "do you like what you see?"

She shrugs nonchalantly, and replies....

"Meh, I prefer men who are a little more buff!"

Poor Chance. Guess he's got no hopes with Bridget here. Still he soldiers on, hoping that somehow this date will improve somewhat.

The morning is dawning and Chance is feeling fatigued at the energy he is putting into this date. And as there isn't a catering facility at this lot, he and Bridget decide to go home, but not before ending the date.

With gritted teeth, Chance waits to see what her reply is.
And surprisingly, she had a really good time, notching up her date as 'Good'.

Before they enter the mansion, Chance gives her a tender, chaste kiss.

And so endeth the first of 7 dates.

**on a side note here**

Well, hello there, handsome!!!!

Just as Chance and Bridget were leaving the lot, a familiar face pops up....
To which the producer of the show, nearly busts an artery....
... wolf whistles, squeals in an undignified manner and promptly faints on the spot.

Rhage/Hal E Wood (whatever name you go by sonny) ... you beast, you're such a tease.

Sadly, either he was too embarrassed at her outburst, or he didn't hear her squeals of carnal delight, or he was a little side-tracked. As he continued walking, with a purposeful gait.

Next on Chance's dates is.....

Bailey Bratz

So stay tuned folks.....

Is the Pressure Getting too Much?

With the rumours about the girls sneaking away from Chance's fortified mansion, (just kidding, they're free to come and go as they wish). And the fact that a hot new guy is causing a mighty ruckus in the adjoining neighbourhood, could this mean that Chance is losing his 'shine', his, 'novelty'?

After all, they're living in a fish bowl environment, with cameras placed in practically every single room, with very little privacy around. So it's obvious that somebody is wanting to be 'out' and escape the prying eyes of the public.

So far, we've had Bailey, Bridget, Melinda and Melanie, all escaping the confines of the mansion. And Chance himself, has managed to elude all these hopeful young ladies too. Sadly, that freedom was short lived though, as Melinda was the one to draw the short straw and become the group's 'unofficial' search party.

So.... following the old saying 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'. Chance decides to bring his complete entourage down to Pleasantview to see this Darius guy once and for all. After all, it's only 'polite' to crash (or in this case, invite himself) a party.

At the time, Darius was completely oblivious to the fact that his house was about to be overrun by a group of amorous ladies. He was a little 'busy' himself, entertaining his own guests.

Let's just say... nothing here and let the pictures do the talking.

Man, when that guy gets busy... he certainly gets 'busy'.

So, whilst Darius was *ahem*, otherwise occupied, Chance and his whole 'entourage', cameras and all, all decided to hang around Darius' front lawn.

It's there that we start seeing the cracks beginning to show with Chance. As everybody is standing creating 'good thoughts' over our handsome hunk, he takes one sweeping look at one of the ladies and ....

... well...

See for yourself. Not only is he getting all hot and bothered over a completely unaware Averyelle....

....Chance has gone gaga over Sera, bless her. And give her credit, she's blissfully unaware of his gaping jaw and drooling mouth. Let's just hope that by the end of this challenge, we don't need the men in white coats. After all, this is a 'Bachelor' challenge and NOT an asylum *gulps*

I hope.

Not only that, panther-like, another female, determined to stake her claim, starts to prowl in. Firstly she stands back and quietly observes and judging by her face, she's not happy with the way things are going.

Her heart is fluttering wildly over Darius as he finally makes his appearance.
Wanton hussy!!!!

But, and this is a BIG BUT. She's eager to gain that coveted prize once and for all. The chance of a lifetime to marry Chance and live happily ever after.

So, she brazenly approaches, measuring the distance and marking her territory by flirting outrageously with Chance in public. To which, with her hypnotic powers, he is definitely entranced.

And to finish off her possession, she leaps into his arms.

O-kay young lady.... it's about time to stop hogging Chance and give others the opportunity to monopolize him throughout this challenge.

*ahem*

It appears that at least one of our females is exceptionally territorial. This looks like trouble in the Chance mansion. But, as we're only there as impartial observers, then alas, we cannot do anything but watch as the drama unfolds.

Bridget's 'Missing Hours'

The last we saw of dear Bridget, was before the 'Grand Masked Ball'.
She told us all that she didn't have time for anything like that and wasn't really into 'dressing up'

After that, she vanished from the mansion.

And now we know why.

She heard about this Darius guy and decided to check him out.
Poor guy unwittingly was just picking up his morning paper, when she arrived on his doorstep.
Only to have her prank him instantly.

Not a good move, my dear.

Nice (desperate) guy that he is, he invited her into his humble abode and gave her breakfast.

He's not the only one at the receiving end of her pranks.

There was Florence Delarosa.

Then some poor townie who just happened to be passing.
He'd barely got across the threshold of Darius' place, when she marched up to him with that 'dreaded finger' of hers.

Bridget dear.
Just to let you know.

You're not earning brownie points here.
Voting is coming up pretty soon and the last thing you want is to show everyone how unpopular you're making yourself.

Especially when you're trying so hard to win over Chance's heart.

The Masked Ball

Chance decided to take the plunge and organise a Masked Ball for everyone. So, after much excitement, and a few non-starters, everybody got into the spirit of things and decided to have some fun.

With gorgeous gowns galore and rich beauties to choose from, Chance was spoiled for choice when it came to dancing with partners.

Firstly, he decided to 'classic dance' with Sera.

All was going well, he couldn't keep his eyes off her....

then THIS happened....

Considering is hobby is Music and Dance, I swear he has two left feet.

At least she took it nicely.

So much so that we heard that familiar 'crush' tinkle.
And what's this? Shameless flirting.... from Sera??????

Uh oh, this is going to make the competition even tougher..... especially with the jealousy stuff going on.

Then it was the turn of Melinda.

Obviously, Chance was once again, bowled over by her startling beauty, and declared happily that she looked just like a princess. To which she blushed, before jiggling to the latest music on the stereo.

Yep, not a single stitch of classical music in sight. This was a fun 'ball' with great dances and clever moves.

Next on the list was Melanie. She too looked stunning. However, for some reasons unknown, she cold shouldered Chance and decided to dance with Melinda.

That didn't stop Chance though, for soon afterwards, in came Alexa, looking ravishing in red and stole Chance's heart along with spinning him deftly across the dance floor.

Is there a 'spark' there? They're dancing pretty close to us, and can't seem to keep their eyes off each other.

Yes, once again, the tinkle of 'crush' came up.

We had Averyelle next in a startling gown of red, black and white. She was particularly hypnotic with those emerald green eyes of hers.

And lastly, with her cat-like appearance, was Bailey. A little shy and apprehensive, but really happy that Chance had actually agreed to dance with her.

And so the party continued well into the evening, before everyone became hungry and desperately needed the bathroom.

Everybody enjoyed themselves as they intermingled on the dance floor.
