'Getting to know you' Part one

Chance decided today was the day to chat to his 'roomies', share interests etc.

A 'Getting to Know You', scenario

The first one on his list was Sera.
After his disastrous first meeting with her, it was a wise decision to apologise and hope that she can put all that behind her.

So, much to the chagrin of all the other guests, they decided to 'hang out' in the kitchen.
Which stopped everyone from washing up their plates. Oh, by the way, I have no idea who did it, but someone broke the dishwasher. So I guess it's time for the repairman to call.

We're not pointing fingers here, honestly, but we'll know who it is soon enough.
Interesting.

Well, they discussed economics, which was a pretty sore point for Chance. He didn't want to hear about the credit crunch and all of that.

Then they took to a little tickling, to which Sera's squeals enchanted Chance even more.

He was then prompted to flirt a little and kiss her hand. He did it dutifully, but not without a little pouting to start off with anyway.

You'd think that he was going to the gallows, NOT kissing the hand of a beautiful lady.

After the great Apartment Life installation, however, he lost interest in Sera slightly, wanting to chat to Melinda.

However, that didn't go down to well. Try as she might, Melinda just couldn't stop Chance from yawning whenever she opened her mouth.

In the end, he regarded her as 'dull' compared to the lively Sera and showed it too. Much to the disdain of poor Melinda.

Next on the list was Bailey.

He approached her confidently, beaming.

Bailey looked a little apprehensive and shy, but waited patiently to see what he'd talk about.
Chance went for a safe option.

The Weather.

Bad choice, as just at that moment, there was a sudden nasty downpour that soured their moods somewhat. Besides, Bailey wanted something more exciting to talk about than the weather.

Well, that wiped the smile off his face.

Guess it didn't go down as well as we'd expected. The faces those two pulled were a drama in themselves.

"Nope sorry... I can't handle this Bailey."

"Well, I'm not listening to you either."

**sigh**

Guess this challenge isn't going a 'swimmingly' as we'd thought.

Stay tuned for more antics of this mixed bag of folks.
